Hall of Fame
On Feb. 9, 2024, the GW Athletics Hall of Fame grew to 189 members and four historic teams with the induction of a new class. The next Hall of Fame Class will be announced in the summer of 2025 and will be inducted on Friday, December 5th, 2025 as part of GW's 50th Anniversary of the Charles E. Smith Center celebration festivities.
Founded in 1959, seven inaugural members--including the late Arnold (Red) Auerbach '40--began this tradition of excellence.
