Charles Chesnut was a tackle for the Colonials football team. In September 1930 he started on the Varsity roster as a left tackle at 6-foot-1, 198 pounds. The Oklahoma native earned an bachelor's degree from GW in 1934 and a law degree in 1938. He was an attorney in Miami, Okla., and later became vice president of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
