ADA ACCESSIBILITY - The Charles E. Smith Center is committed to providing the highest level of service to anyone who requires accessible accommodations. Please contact arena staff upon your arrival and appropriate accommodations will be made for you. The box office has an access ramp and accessible ticket window.

ALCOHOL - Beer and wine is now served in the Smith Center at men's and women's basketball games and other select events.
ANIMALS - The only animals that are allowed in the Smith Center are those serving as guide, signal, or service animals to aid those patrons with disabilities. Guests escorted by service animals may not take up additional seats unless a ticket has been purchased for the adjacent seat, but may request accessible seating.
BABY CHANGING FACILITIES - Changing tables can be found in our family restrooms located on the arena level in the concessions concourse.
BAGS - To ensure the safety of all guests and allow for quicker entry, the Charles E. Smith Center has implemented a no-bag policy to enhance the experience for all guests and to better align GW events with venue management best practices.
Medical bags, and parenting bags no larger than 16” x 16” x 8” will be allowed and will be fully screened. GW Athletics reserves the right to refuse any item that may pose a safety risk, disrupt the event, or violate venue policies or the list of prohibited items.
BANNERS AND SIGNS - Banners and signs are permitted for GW Athletic events only, provided they are specific sport-related, in good taste and not of a commercial nature. Banners and signs may not be secured to any area of the facility or obstruct the view of other guests or arena advertising signage. Smith Center Staff reserve the right to remove any banner or sign.
BOX OFFICE - The Smith Center Box Office is located on 22nd St between F & G St NW on street level. It is open one hour before events as well as Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm. To contact, please call 202-994-9849.
CAMERAS - Small personal cameras (non-professional) are permitted for sporting events. All professional equipment must be accompanied by a media/photo credential. The permitted use of cameras varies for special events/concerts.
CHAMPIONS CLUB - The Champions Club is located on the concourse level of the arena behind the west basket. Entrance is located in the Northwest corner by the elevator. The Champions Club can be utilized during basketball games for group outings. For more information about the Champions Club, please call the GW Athletics Ticket Office at 202-994-9849.
CONCESSIONS - The concessions concourse is located on the arena level behind the east basket and on the level two northwest corner.
CODE OF CONDUCT - The following are prohibited:
ELEVATOR - An elevator is located in the Northwest corner of the building.
EVACUATION PLAN - In the event of an emergency that requires partial or complete evacuation of the arena, follow the directions of arena personnel. Please familiarize yourself with your nearest exits.
FAMILY RESTROOMS - Family Restrooms are located on the arena level in the concessions concourse.
FIRST AID - If you require any first aid, please find the nearest arena personnel and an emergency crew will respond to your location.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE - There is no outside food or beverages allowed in for any event at the Smith Center.
LOST & FOUND - Please go to the Control Desk which is located in the Northeast corner of the building on the arena level.
LOST CHILDREN - Please report any lost children to the nearest arena personnel.
PARKING - There is metered street parking around the arena as well as University parking garages. We encourage you to visit GW Parking Services' list of garages on campus for information on available visitor parking garages, their rates and hours.

RE-ENTRY - Re-entry is prohibited for most Smith Center events. Anyone leaving during a paid event will be required to purchase a new ticket.
RESTROOMS - Restrooms are located on the third floor in both the Northwest and Southwest corners of the Arena. There are also restrooms, including two family restrooms located on the Arena level in the Concessions Concourse.
SMOKING - Smoking and any tobacco use is prohibited in the Charles E. Smith Center.
SPIRIT SHOP/MERCHANDISE - During select games and events, the spirit shop can be found in the Northeast Corner of the arena on the concourse level. For more information, please call the bookstore 202-992-6566. The University Campus Store is located at 2125 I Street NW.
TICKETS - A valid ticket is required for all events unless otherwise advertised. Children under the age of 2 who will not occupy a seat do not need a ticket for GW Basketball games. Please contact the Athletics Ticket Office for more information: 202-994-9849. Student admission is free and full information can be found here.
THE TIN TABERNACLE CLUB - The Tin Tabernacle Club is located on the court level of the arena behind the west basket. For more information about the Tin Tabernacle Club, please call the GW Athletics Development office at 202-994-8412.
