What is SAAC?
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a partnership of the student-athletes representing all 20 sports at GW. SAAC provides insight on the student-athlete experience. SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes' lives on NCAA member institution campuses. Presently, there are separate national SAACs for NCAA Divisions I, II and III. NCAA legislation mandates that all member institutions have SAACs on their respective campuses. Further, NCAA legislation requires that all member conferences have SAACs.Mission Statement & Vision
The GW Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a student-led NCAA affiliated organization whose core mission is to enhance the student-athlete experience by engaging with the DMV and GW community, and act as a liaison between student-athletes and GW Administration. The ultimate goal for our SAAC representatives is that while apart of SAAC, they are able to grow and develop as leaders, engage with all aspects of the GW and DMV community, ultimately allowing them to contribute to leaving GW Athletics an even better place than when they arrived.2026-27 SAAC Members
