Membership in the Buff & Blue Fund offers donors several unique opportunities each year to interact with GW Athletics and our impressive student-athletes.
Our Mission
The Buff & Blue Fund is the official fundraising arm of George Washington Athletics. Through our fundraising efforts, the Buff & Blue Fund supports GW student-athletes by providing the opportunity for student-athletes to be leaders in their sports, excel in the classroom, and give back to the community with determination, commitment, and respect.
WAYS TO GIVE
Annual Giving
Members of the Buff & Blue Fund support GW student-athletes each year through annual gifts directed either to the Buff & Blue Fund or to a specific sport program. Making an annual gift directly supports the needs of our student-athletes and allows our 20 varsity programs and the coaches and administrators who support them succeed at the highest level.
Major Gifts
A major gift to GW Athletics provides donors an opportunity to make an impact that will stand the test of time. A major gift grants entry into The 1732 Circle, and is a minimum commitment of $25,000 or more that is fulfilled over 5 years to GW Athletics or program of choice.
Planned Giving
Planned giving provides donors with a platform to make a lasting impact on George Washington Athletics.
Planned giving takes on many forms, from gifts that help now, gifts that help later, or gifts that pay income, donors who choose to invest in GW with a planned gift find value and reward in the lives and opportunities that they help create.
