GW returns to The Tuck on Friday for a weekend series with Binghamton
A Tiger error allowed the first run of the contest to score for GW, sending Sam Gates to the plate on a throwing error from the Towson second baseman. A double from Noah Levin plated Eddie Micheletti and a two-run homer from Michael Kohn capped off the four-run inning for the Buff & Blue.
Towson responded quickly, with a seven-run inning followed by three runs scored in the third. They then held GW scoreless until a two-run triple in the fourth from Gates cut the deficit to four at 10-6.
A pair of fifth-inning home runs, including one knock from Anthony Frechette, kept the bats alive, but Towson poured in eight more runs to GW's two to close out the victory.
Micheletti, Frechette and Kohn finished the day with two hits apiece and Kohn led with four RBI.
