Baseball Tripped Up at Dayton

After scoring just one run on Friday, the Revolutionaries' offense came to play early, posting three runs in the top of the first inning. The lead was short-lived, however, as the Flyers put up seven runs over the next three innings to take a 7-3 lead.
The Buff & Blue battled back with four runs of their own to tie the game at seven apiece in the top of the fifth. Dayton answered in a big way, putting up 15 runs over the fifth and sixth innings to put GW away. The GW Revs tallied three runs over the final three innings, but it wasn't enough as Dayton secured the win.
Conlon Walker finished 3-for-3 from the plate with a run scored, while Sam Gates finished with two hits and two RBI. Robbie Lavey and Ty Acker both notched two hits and two runs scored as well. Cade Davis was charged with the loss, dropping him to 2-1 on the year.
