Baseball Travels to Towson, Hosts Delaware in Mid-Week Action

Buff & Blue take on Tigers Tuesday, Blue Hens Wednesday
WASHINGTON - GW baseball is set for a busy week with five games on the docket, beginning on Tuesday as it travels to Towson for a rematch with the Tigers at 3 p.m. The Buff & Blue will then host Delaware on Wednesday with first pitch set for 3 p.m. on ESPN+.
OVER THE WEEKEND: For the second-straight A-10 weekend, GW won the series opener on Friday before falling on Saturday and Sunday, this time to the Richmond Spiders at home. Logan Koester gave the Buff & Blue a great start on Friday, allowing just two runs in eight innings with four strikeouts. Teddy Brennan authored a quality start on Saturday as well, while Chris Kahler gave GW six solid frames on Sunday.
A LOOK AT THE TIGERS: GW and Towson squared off back on March 8, a 21-11 win for the Tigers at Barcroft Park. Michael Kohn and Anthony Frechette each homered in the game and combined for six RBI. The Tigers are 10-22 overall this year and 2-10 in CAA play and have been off from competition since a 10-8 win over George Mason last Wednesday.
ABOUT THE BLUE HENS: GW pulled out a 10-7 victory over Delaware back on March 7 thanks to a five-run top of the ninth inning. Bryan Belo delivered the go-ahead blow with a three-run triple, driving in four overall on the day. The Blue Hens sit at 15-16 overall and 6-6 in the CAA entering the week and will take on Saint Joseph's on Tuesday before making the visit to The Tuck.
