Men's Tennis Dominates Duquesne to Open A-10 Play

Colonials earn second straight sweep
COLLEGE PARK, Md. - GW men's tennis began its A-10 slate in convincing fashion on Saturday evening, sweeping Duquesne at the Junior Tennis Champions Center.
The Colonials earned the doubles point to begin play, winning at #1 and #3. Ben Barnett and Zicheng Zeng rolled to a 6-3 victory at the top spot and were joined by Lawrence Sciglitano and Jakub Behun, who earned a 7-5 triumph at #3.
For the second straight match, GW took all six singles matches without dropping a single set. Zeng (6-1, 6-3) and Ethan Jacobs (6-2, 6-3) maintained their perfect singles play so far this year with wins at #2 and #3, respectively.
GW wraps up its four-match homestand to open the year next Sunday, Feb. 9 by hosting Temple at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
