Barnett and Zeng improve to 4-2 in doubles play
NORFOLK, Va. - GW men's tennis completed its weekend swing in the Tidewater area of Virginia by dropping a 4-0 decision to Old Dominion on Sunday morning.
ODU claimed the doubles point by winning two of the three matches, but the Colonials were able to snag a victory at the top spot with Ben Barnett and Zicheng Zeng winning 6-2 to improve to 4-2 on the season.
The Monarchs picked up victories at #1, #2 and #5 in singles play to close out the match, which was played to clinch.
The Colonials will return to action next weekend with a trio of matches in Ohio, beginning with an A-10 clash at Dayton on Friday at 7 p.m.
