Men’s Tennis Closes Out Homestand Against Temple Sunday

Colonials seek third straight win
WASHINGTON – GW men's tennis hosts Temple on Sunday afternoon in Sterling, Va., at the Trump National Golf Club to close out its season-opening homestand. The first serve is at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT: Last Saturday, the Colonials made a statement to open A-10 play by sweeping Duquesne, 7-0. GW took all six singles points without dropping a set. Zicheng Zeng and Ethan Jacobs remained perfect in singles play with wins at #2 and #3, respectively.
ABOUT THE OWLS: The Owls are 2-2 on the season with wins over St. Francis Brooklyn and Connecticut. Last season, Temple upset second-seeded Tulane to reach the semifinals of the American Athletic Conference Championship before falling to South Florida.
SERIES HISTORY: GW holds a favorable 8-2 mark all-time against the Owls. In the last meeting on Feb. 11, 2018, the Colonials fell to Temple, 5-2.
