Pair of 4-1 teams meet at the SETLC
WASHINGTON -Â GW men's tennis returns to the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center on Sunday morning for a critical Atlantic 10 showdown with Dayton. First serve is scheduled for 10 a.m.
LAST TIME OUT:Â The Colonials bounced back from their first conference setback with a 5-2 victory at Fordham last weekend. GW swept the doubles matches to earn the early point before taking four of six singles matches. Ryan Navarro had the most decisive win at #2 singles, dropping just one game in two sets.Â
ABOUT DAYTON:Â The Flyers are also 4-1 in league play, most recently sweeping Fordham and Duquesne, 4-0, on March 23 and 24, respectively. The Flyers will square off with George Mason on Saturday before battling the Colonials Sunday in their final conference match of the year.
SERIES HISTORY:Â Dayton and GW have not met in the regular season since the 2008-09 season when GW won, 7-0. The two last met in the A-10 quarterfinals in 2015, when GW swept the Flyers, 4-0, en route to winning the A-10 Championship.
