Colonials return to Annapolis for second fall event

WASHINGTON - GW men's tennis will head back to the U.S. Naval Academy this weekend to take part in the Navy Blue Invite from Friday-Sunday for the second event of the fall season.

LAST TIME OUT: The Colonials earned four flight titles at the Joe Hunt Invitational with sophomore Michael Barsky coming out on top in his singles group and three doubles pairings - Ethan Jacobs/Ryan Navarro, Ben Barnett/Zicheng Zeng and Jakub Behun/Lawrence Sciglitano - topping their respective flights.

FORMAT: This weekend features a smaller field with a similar flighted draw and individual scoring. The Colonials will see A-10 foe La Salle as well as Navy, Mount St. Mary's, Drexel, Morgan State and NJIT.

STRONG START: The Buff & Blue's impressive opening performance was accentuated by all eight student-athletes who participated posting a winning record. The Colonials went 18-6 in singles matches, headlined by Barsky's 4-0 performance, and were a sterling 14-2 in doubles competition.
