DALLAS - The George Washington baseball team concluded its spring break road trip through Texas on Tuesday afternoon, falling to Minnesota, 12-5, in a neutral-site game at Dallas Baptist University's Horner Ballpark.

Key Stats

GW found the scoreboard first with two runs in the top of the first but Minnesota scored six unanswered runs over the first three innings to take a 6-2 lead.
The Colonials nearly erased the deficit, battling back to within one run of the lead, but Minnesota pulled away with three runs in both the sixth and seventh innings.
Robbie Metz led the Colonials at the plate by going 3-for-5 with a double and one RBI.
Steven Barmakian also turned in a multi-hit day, his fifth of the season, by going 2-for-3 with a pair of walks and two runs scored.
GW's pitchers issued 10 walks on the day.
