HOW IT HAPPENED
- 24th Minute: Senior Alicia Window tallied the evening's first goal after deflecting the ball past Towson's goalkeeper for the score. Picking up the assist was Lauren Prentice. GW's Amelia Booth crossed the ball into Prentice who took the initial shot, Window then redirected the ball into the net for the GW score.
- 25th Minute: The Buff & Blue didn't waste any time extending its lead, going up 2-0 less than one minute later off a goal from Isabel Kelly. Kelly rocketed a ball from the top of the penalty box that soared over the Tigers' goalkeeper and into the upper right corner of the goal. The score is Kelly's first of her junior season.
- 61st Minute: The lone score of the second half came in the 61st minute off the foot of Kelly Poole. Poole pushed the ball into the net after receiving a deflected cross from Kate McGrath in the corner. The goal is Poole's first of the season and is also the first point of the year for McGrath as well.
