Women’s Soccer Takes Short Trip to Georgetown, Hosts Richmond

Following two consecutive home wins, the George Washington women's soccer team closes out the non-conference schedule on Wednesday, making the short trip across the District to face Georgetown at 7:30 p.m. The Buff & Blue then return home on Sunday, hosting Richmond for the start of Atlantic 10 play at 1:00 p.m. Both matches will be carried live on ESPN+.
GW's Isabelle Ohlmann was named the Revolutionary Student-Athlete of the Week after tallying two goals in a 5-1 win over American last Thursday. Ohlmann led the team with eight total shots, putting four on target, in the team's dominant effort. Ohlmann's goals came within five minutes of each other in the 63rd and 68th minutes, her first two scores of the season. The win pushed GW to 3-0 at home, the best start at The Vern for the Buff & Blue since 2018.

Founded in 2022 following the death of former Stanford soccer captain Katie Meyer, Katie's Save aims to fight for systemic changes at colleges and universities across the country to promote mental health, protect students and prevent suicide.
Richmond will enjoy a week of rest before traveling to the DMV on Sunday, having seven days between last weekend's win over Howard and this weekend's matchup with GW. The Spiders are 5-0-3 on the year, marking the first time in program history Richmond finished undefeated in non-conference play.
The Spiders' offense is led by Morgane Zinn, who is third among A10 players with 11 points this season. Zinn has four goals and three assists, while her teammate, Kingsley Hughes, has two goals and two assists in 2026.
