The George Washington women's soccer team fell to crosstown foe Georgetown on Wednesday night, 4-1, dropping to 3-3-2 this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

21^st Minute: Georgetown's Abigail Droner tallied the lone goal of the first half on a penalty kick that just snuck past the diving arm of GW's Jasmine Black.
63^rd Minute: After a tripping penalty in the box, Droner doubled Georgetown's advantage with her second penalty kick of the day.
64^thMinute: The Hoyas added a third goal quickly when Kaya Hanson rocketed a shot into the upper left corner of the goal. Assisting on the play was Evelyn Casadaban.
74^th Minute: Georgetown's Kaya Hanson tallied the Hoyas' final goal of the day off Casadaban's second assist of the day.
79^th Minute: GW's Sophia Michel tallied her second career goal on a free kick just outside of the box. Michel roped a ball into the upper right corner, putting the Revolutionaries on the board.

NOTEWOTHY

Despite the loss, Black was stellar in goal, recording eight saves, including a penalty kick save early in the first half.
Georgetown outshot GW 22-3, including a 12-2 edge in shots on goal.
Georgetown also finished with an 11-1 advantage in corner kicks.
GW's Rose Vigran, Caroline Donmoyer and Naomi Kim were each issued a yellow card, while Georgetown's Isabel Boodell was given a caution as well.
