HOW IT HAPPENED

46^th Minute: After a quiet opening half from both offenses, Towson was first on the scoreboard early in the second period on a goal from Kale'a Perry.
49^th Minute: GW had an immediate answer, using efficient ball movement to draw the score back to even. Sophia Broz played a lead pass into the short corner to Ariana Gronauer. Gronauer then crossed the ball into the box, where Ella Provost-Heron rocketed a shot off the crossbar and into the net. The goal is Provost-Heron's first of her career.
70^th Minute: Towson pulled back in front midway through the second half, using a goal from Sofia Rosenblatt to take a 2-1 lead.
