YOUNGSTOWN, Oh. – Despite creating multiple opportunities on the offensive end, the George Washington women's soccer team could not register a goal, falling to Youngstown State, 1-0. The Revolutionaries drop to 1-3-1 on the season with two matches left in the non-conference slate.

HOW IT HAPPENED

30^th Minute: The Penguins' Elis Klein Spindola recorded the match's only goal, coming with 15 minutes left in the first half. The score was her first of the season and came via an assist from Tatum Gretz.

NOTEWORTHY

Ainsley Lumpe played all 90 minutes in goal for GW, recording three saves and allowing just one goal.
Offensively, the Revolutionaries finished with a 12-11 advantage in shots, but both teams finished with an even four shots on goal for the match. Two of GW's shots on goal came from senior Alicia Window, while junior Isabel Kelly and first-year Leah Freeman finished with one.
The two teams also finished with an even three corner kicks apiece, while the Buff & Blue notched six fouls compared to five for the Penguins.
21 members of the Buff & Blue saw action in the contest with sophomore first-year Julia Bilal clocking the most minutes on the team with 78. Window was close behind with 73, while grad student Lauren Prentice recorded 68.
