GW women's soccer student-athlete Isabelle Ohlmann has been named the Student-Athlete of the Week following her two-goal performance in the Revolutionaries' dominant 5-1 win over American last Thursday.
The junior forward from Prior Lake, Minn., led the Buff & Blue with a career-high eight shots against the Eagles, including four shots on goal. Both goals came within five minutes of each other, with her first registered in the 63rd minute off an assist from Naomi Kim, while her second was tallied in the 68th minute via a dish from Anna Cornejo.
The goals are Ohlmann's first two of the season and helped propel GW to its second consecutive victory and third home win in a row to start the season. The Buff & Blue are 3-0 at The Vern for the first time since 2018 and travel across the District to Georgetown on Wednesday night for the final non-conference match of the season. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
