Men’s Tennis Heads to Longwood Saturday

Colonials battle Lancers at 2 p.m.
WASHINGTON - GW men's tennis is set to play against Longwood in Farmville, Va., on Saturday at 2 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT: The Colonials defeated their DC rivals, Georgetown, 4-3, last Friday, winning four singles matches. Sophomore Ethan Jacobs secured his win with a 7-5 victory in the third set at No. 2. Sophomore Zicheng Zeng won the tiebreaker in the second set, and then was able to secure the third win at the No. 1 position.
Senior Jakub Behun and sophomore Lawrence Sciglitano at the No. 4 and No. 5 positions, respectively, were able to secure their matches to lift GW to the win.
ABOUT THE LANCERS: The Lancers have a record of 6-4 this season and are coming off a 4-0 win over NC A&T on Monday. The Colonials are a perfect 4-0 against the Lancers in program history, winning last season's matchup at home, 4-3.
