Men's Tennis Set for Final Non-Conference Weekend

Colonials to host William & Mary Friday, face Navy and Bryant on Saturday
WASHINGTON -Â GW men's tennis will finish out the non-conference portion of its schedule this weekend, playing three matches in two days. The Colonials will host William & Mary at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Va. on Friday at 1:30 p.m. before traveling to Annapolis, Md. to square off with Navy (10 a.m.) and Bryant (5 p.m.) on Saturday.
RETURNING HOME:Â The Colonials are 2-2 on their home courts this season, but are coming off a difficult four-game road swing and have not played at home since Feb. 22. GW has bested A-10 foe La Salle and Longwood in home meets this year, and has fallen in narrow margins to Drexel and Monmouth.
ABOUT THE TRIBE:Â William & Mary enters play this weekend at 0-11 on the campaign, most recently dropping a 6-1 decision in its conference opener at Elon on Sunday. Sebastian Quiros has claimed four singles wins, most on the team.
ABOUT THE MIDSHIPMEN:Â Navy has had a busy spring, posting a 16-10 mark and is coming off a 1-3 trip to California during the week. GW last faced Navy in a dual match in 2017, winning 7-0. The two sides saw a lot of one another in the fall with three tournament held in Annapolis.
ABOUT THE BULLDOGS:Â Bryant and GW will square off in Annapolis in a neutral meet Saturday evening. The Bulldogs are 11-9 on the year and will face Mount St. Mary's and Navy this weekend prior to the Colonials.Â
