WASHINGTON - Fresh off a pair of authoritative wins in the mid-week, George Washington baseball is set to host Iona for a three-game series at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park. First pitch on Friday is scheduled for 3 p.m. with games set for 1 p.m. on Saturday and noon on Sunday.
DURING THE MID-WEEK: The Colonials rolled to a pair of victories against local foes, 13-8 over Towson on Tuesday and 15-3 over Maryland Eastern Shore on Wednesday. GW combined to rack up 34 hits in the two games, 11 of which went for extra bases. The two triumphs pushed GW's winning streak to three games, tied for its longest this season.
