Barnett earns victory in singles play to wrap up Florida trip
TAMPA, Fla. -Â GW men's tennis wrapped up its three-match-in-three-day swing through Florida with a competitive match against South Florida, pushing three singles matches to tiebreaks in a 6-1 setback.
First-year Ben Barnett provided the point for the Colonials with a three-set win at #3 singles, 7-6, 3-6, 10-8. First-year Hanyu Liu and junior Dennis Afanasev pushed their respective singles matches to tiebreaks before falling.
