Mitchell joined the GW men's tennis program as a graduate assistant in July 2019.
Mitchell graduated with an accounting and finance degree from Lipscomb in 2017, where he was one of the Bisons' top performers. He played at #1 all four seasons, serving as the team's vice-captain as a junior and captain as a senior. In his final campaign, Mitchell led the team to the first ASUN conference final in program history.
He also became the program's first D-I player to earn a national ranking in singles, reaching as high as #110. Mitchell was twice named to the ASUN All-Academic Team and was a three-time First Team All-Conference performer.
A native of Southampton, England, Mitchell will pursue a master's degree in finance at GW. Since his graduation, he has served as an accounting analyst for LKQ Corporation in Nashville and moved to London to work as a software consultant for a Fintech service provider.
