GW lacrosse is set to kick off its 2026 competitive slate by welcoming the Howard Bison to the Vern for a 1 p.m. matchup on ESPN+. 

NEW FACES IN THE LINEUP
The Buff & Blue bring 11 new faces to its lineup in 2026, anchored by USA Lacrosse All-Americans Sophia Im and Mia Milkowski. Head Coach Colleen McCaffrey says first-year class is, "collectively bringing championship pedigrees, high-level club experience, and a relentless competitive spirit that will make an immediate impact on both ends of the field." 
 
PRESEASON ACCOLADES
Senior defender Stella Ray was named to the conference's Preseason Team last week. The senior captain enters her final season as a three-time All-Conference honoree and holds slots on the league leaderboard in both ground balls and draw controls per game from last season. 

A LOOK AT THE BISON
Howard finished its 2025 season with a 1-14 mark, including a 1-8 record in NEC Play. Last year's meeting between the Bison and Revolutionaries went in favor of GW, 16-7.
