GW lacrosse did not waste any of its final 60 minutes of action at the Vern for the 2026 season as the Revolutionaries rolled past the Duquesne Dukes on senior day to earn a 19-8 win. With an even 4-4 record in conference play and just one game left in the regular season, the Revolutionaries solidified a spot in the six-team A-10 Championship with Saturday's win as well.
Duquesne got on the board early in Saturday's matchup before the Revolutionaries put up five unanswered goals in the first quarter and eventually held a 9-4 lead at the break. In the second half, the Buff & Blue continued to dominate, outscoring the visiting team, 10-4, to eventually earn the 19-8 victory.
In celebratory fashion, eight Revolutionaries got on the board for GW, including three members of the senior class: Grace Curry, Emma Curry and Carleigh Callahan. Grace Curry and Parker Febo led the team in scoring with four goals apiece, while Mia Milkowski fueled the attack with seven points to claim the program's rookie single-season record for points. The first-year has earned 63 points to-date for the 2026 season.
In goal, Gabi Greth earned the win with eight saves, and first-year Daisen Iwan led the team with five draw controls. As a team, the Revolutionaries' defensive efforts combined for 11 ground balls and eight caused turnovers.
George Washington now turns its attention to St. Bonaventure for the regular season finale, with the meeting scheduled for next Saturday at noon in St. Bonaventure, N.Y.
