GW lacrosse concluded its 2026 campaign on Thursday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship, falling to St. Bonaventure, 10-8.

The Bonnies led 4-2 after the first quarter before GW narrowed the lead to three at the break. George Washingtin fought back to get within one goal at the beginning of the final 15 minutes, but it was St. Bonaventure who pulled away late in the game to advance to the semifinals.

A-10 Rookie of the Year Mia Milkowski and Maggie Pond each registered a hat trick, while Daisen Iwan led on the defensive side with three ground balls. GW combined to cause seven turnovers, while in the draw circle, Stella Ray and Gracie Burke each earned three draw controls.

After placing six on the All-Conference list inclusive of two First Team selections, and making an A-10 Championship appearance for the first time since 2023, GW concludes its 2026 season with a 9-8 mark and a sixth-place finish in the Atlantic 10 regular season standings.
