GW to Host 2025 Atlantic 10 Softball Championship, May 7-10

The 2025 Atlantic 10 (A-10) Softball Championship is coming to Northwest Washington, D.C.
The George Washington University will host the 2025 Atlantic 10 (A-10) Softball Championship, a six-team, double-elimination tournament to be held May 7–10 on GW's Mount Vernon Campus in Northwest Washington, D.C. The winner earns the A-10's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Participating teams, in seeding order: No. 1 Dayton, No. 2 Saint Louis, No. 3 Fordham, No. 4 George Washington (host), No. 5 Saint Joseph's, and No. 6 Loyola Chicago.
All games will be played at the GW Softball Field (2100 Foxhall Rd NW, Washington, D.C. 20007).
The tournament begins Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. with No. 5 Saint Joseph's vs. No. 4 GW.Â
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Attendance at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship is free for all fans. Parking in the Mount Vernon Campus parking garage is free for under three hours on weekdays, and free on weekends. A-10 Championship merchandise and limited concessions will be available for purchase. Seating at the GW Softball Field is on a first-come, first-serve basis.Â
HOW WE GOT HERE
The Revolutionaries completed a 32-19 regular season to return to the postseason for the first time since 2022. GW went 16-10 in the A-10, which included a 11-1 record at home against conference opponents. Overall, GW dominated play at home in the regular season, finishing 19-3 at the GW Softball Field.
GW junior Ashley Corpuz finished the regular season atop the A-10 in batting average, doubles, OPS, and slugging, and is a top A-10 Player of the Year candidate. She was backed by an offense that finished third in the league in average (.280) and second in OBP (.378).
Pitcher Anna Reed finished the regular season with the top ERA and most wins in the conference, making her a strong candidate for A-10 Pitcher of the Year. Reed headlined a GW staff that finished first in team ERA (2.70), over half of a run better than the next-best staff.
