Joe LeVee joined GW in September 2022 as an Athletics Communications Specialist and serves as the primary communications contact for men’s soccer, water polo, men’s and women’s swimming & diving, and softball. LeVee is from the greater Chicagoland area and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he earned his undergraduate degree in communications.
At Minnesota, LeVee served as the primary communications contact for the Gopher men’s golf team and gained experience working game days for Minnesota football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s hockey, volleyball, soccer, wrestling, and tennis. He also worked at Baseline Tennis Center as a general operations employee, overseeing day-to-day facility operations and stringing tennis racquets for the Gopher tennis teams and the general public. Following undergrad and before coming to the DMV, LeVee spent a summer as a media associate for the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, helping further the team’s public relations efforts. That summer, LeVee also had the opportunity to work the WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago, helping coordinate the event’s media circuit while assisting with game operations.
