Joe LeVee joined GW in September 2022 as an Athletic Communications Specialist and serves as the primary communications contact for men’s soccer, water polo, men’s and women’s swimming & diving and softball. LeVee is from the greater Chicagoland area and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where he earned his undergraduate degree in communications.
At Minnesota, LeVee served as the primary communications contact for the Gopher men’s golf team, and gained experience working game days for Minnesota football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s hockey, volleyball, soccer, wrestling and tennis. He also worked at Baseline Tennis Center as a general operations employee, overseeing day-to-day operations and stringing tennis racquets for the Gopher tennis teams and general public. Following graduation and before coming to the DMV, LeVee spent a summer as a Seasonal Media Associate for the Chicago Sky in the WNBA, and worked freelance as a Media-Relations Intern for the 2022 WNBA All-Star Game in Chicago and as a Game Day Production Assistant for ESPN.
LeVee is currently pursuing a Master’s in Sport Management in the GW School of Business.
