The College Sport Communicators (CSC) announced its 2026 Softball Academic All-District teams on Tuesday, naming GW's Ashley Corpuz, Cece Smith, Paige Hayward, Emma Fales and Sophia Torreso on the list.

It is the third consecutive year that GW softball has reached the limit of five student-athletes eligible to be named to the Academic All-District team. Smith and Corpuz earned the honor for the second and third times in their careers, respectively, while it is the first career Academic All-District recognition for Hayward, Fales and Torreso.

Corpuz, the Atlantic 10's Player of the Year and All-Academic team honoree, was selected for consideration to the CSC's Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on June 16.
