At this point in her career, Andrews is accustomed to putting the ball in the basket. The Lafayette transfer tallied 1,176 career points with the Leopards and has added 178 more with the Buff & Blue thus far. She now sits at 1,354 points in her career, needing just 146 more to hit the 1,500-point benchmark. With 15 games left on the regular season calendar, Andrews needs to average 9.7 points the rest of the way to accomplish the feat.
A-10 STANDINGS UPDATE
Through one full week of the A-10 slate, just three teams remain unbeaten in conference play. Saint Joseph's and Davidson are the only two clubs to go a perfect 3-0 to start the season, while Rhode Island sits at 2-0 after receiving an early bye in the schedule. Five teams sit right behind the top three with George Mason, Richmond, Dayton, Fordham and UMass all holding 2-1 records in conference action. Fordham, GW's opponent on Wednesday, has won both of their matchups in thrilling fashion. The Rams squeaked out a slim 80-78 win over previously league-leading Richmond last Thursday, then followed it up with a 64-62 win over Duquesne off a buzzer-beating layup.
Behind the group of five that hold 2-1 marks, Loyola Chicago sits alone with a 2-2 record, having been one of just two teams that have played four A-10 games already this season. GW and VCU sit at 1-2 thus far, while La Salle (1-3) and the group of Duquesne, Saint Louis and St. Bonaventure are winless at 0-3.
