Women’s Basketball Adds Kim as Graduate Manager

Head Coach Ganiyat Adeduntan and the George Washington women's basketball program have announced the addition of Jisoo Kim as a graduate manager, rounding out the staff ahead of the 2026-27 season.
A 2026 graduate of GW's School of Business, Kim was active on campus as an undergraduate. He served as a women's basketball practice player, while also gaining experience as men's basketball's head student manager for two seasons, managing the schedules and daily assignments of the program's 11 student managers. He was also instrumental in the organization of team equipment, facility setup and helping to facilitate practices as well.
Along with his experience at GW, Kim served as an International Basketball Operations Intern with the National Basketball Association in 2025. During his internship, Kim was tasked with managing travel logistics for coaches and referees during NBA Summer League, as well as onboarding coaches for the launch of NBA Basketball School Canada. Kim's experience also included coordinating travel and tournament operations for China's Junior NBA team, including flights, accommodations, registration and all off-court activities.
Kim also has experience overseas, working with the Hanoi Buffaloes of the Vietnam Basketball Association. Through his role, he helped scout opposing offenses, using his findings to build defensive game plans. He also facilitated film breakdown and halftime adjustments, and helped to evaluate talent as potential free agents and draft picks. The Buffaloes captured the 2025 VBA Championship and finished with a 17-1 regular season record.
As a player, Kim was drafted by the Saigon Heat, becoming the youngest player to be selected in Vietnamese basketball history at 17 years old. His career spanned three years, contributing off the bench to three-consecutive league titles.
