Women’s Basketball Unveils Non-Conference Schedule

Ganiyat Adeduntan and the George Washington women's basketball program have unveiled the entire 2026-27 non-conference slate. GW will open the regular season on Monday, Nov. 2 against the University of the District of Columbia. In total, the GW Revs' out-of-conference calendar features eight home games, four contests on the road and two neutral-site bouts as part of the Jacksonville Classic.
Earlier this spring, the program announced a chance to see the team in action before the regular season as the Buff & Blue welcome Towson to the Smith Center for an exhibition contest on Oct. 18 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets for the matchup are available now.
Following the team's season-opener on Nov. 2, GW travels to Morgantown, W.Va., to face the Mountaineers on Nov. 5. The Buff & Blue then return home for a three-game stand, welcoming cross-town foe Georgetown (Nov. 11), LIU (Nov. 14) and Temple (Nov. 17) to Foggy Bottom.
GW returns to the road on Nov. 20, traveling across the District to battle Howard. Following the matchup with the Bison, the Revolutionaries head south for the week of Thanksgiving to play Arizona and UAB as part of the Jacksonville Classic from Nov. 23-25. Dates and times for the two games are still TBA, but fans can purchase ticket packages for both games here.
After the holiday, the GW Revs return home for a matchup against Saint Francis on Nov. 28. One week later, the Buff & Blue travel to Brown on Dec. 5, looking to make it two wins in a row over the Bears after a thrilling 53-48 victory last season during the Smith Center 50th Anniversary Weekend.
The GW Revs return to Foggy Bottom to play Loyola (MD) on Dec. 8 and Rider on Dec. 12, before making their way to the Windy City to battle Northwestern on Dec. 18. GW earned a hard-fought 75-62 win over the Wildcats a year ago, marking the first victory over a power conference opponent since 2017. The Wildcats begin a new era after longtime GW and Northwestern Head Coach Joe McKeown retired at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, marking 785 wins across 40 seasons as a head coach.
GW wraps up the non-conference schedule on Dec. 21, welcoming Maine to the Smith Center. Game times as well as the 2026-27 A10 Conference schedule will be announced in the coming weeks. GW will once again play an early-December A10 matchup, slated for Dec. 2, before picking up with the usual conference calendar in late December.
