ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Also gearing up for its non-conference season finale, Georgetown comes to The Vern on Tuesday at 13-30 overall, with a 4-17 mark in the Big East. The Hoyas are 2-5 in its last seven games, taking one game in series losses to both St. John's and Providence, and falling at Towson in midweek battle. Georgetown caps its regular season this weekend as it hosts UConn for a three-game set.
The Hoyas are led this season on offense by Dayanara Campos, who sports a gaudy 1.191 OPS, 12 home runs and 39 RBI this season, leading Georgetown in nearly every offensive category.
