(RV) Water Polo Heads to Baltimore to Face Johns Hopkins Sunday

WASHINGTON - Looking to win its fourth-straight game, the (RV) George Washington University water polo team, who is receiving votes in the national rankings, (9-6, 5-1 MAWPC) will travel to Baltimore on Sunday for an MAWPC matchup vs. Johns Hopkins (8-13, 2-4 MWAPC). The match begins at 12:00 p.m., and will be streamed on the Centennial Conference Digital Network.
MAWPC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
GW captured two of the three MAWPC awards this past week after winning all three matches against MAWPC foe. Junior defender Adonis Vlassis was tabbed as the conference's Player of the Week, while graduate goalkeeper Luca Castorina was selected as the Defender of the Week.

GW REVS ON A ROLL
The Revolutionaries have won three-straight games and are winners of six of their last eight matches. Including Sunday's matchup vs. Hopkins, GW has eight regular-season matches remaining, which will feature six games in-a-row as the home side beginning on Friday, Oct. 25 at Long Bridge Park vs. Navy (7:00 p.m.).
Senior Andrija Sekulic leads the team in points with 32 goals and 28 assists. Leading-scorer Vlassis has settled into his role on the team after adding 14 goals to his season total last weekend, bringing his season total up to 46. Goalkeeper Castorina has a team-high 148 saves.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Johns Hopkins is 8-13 overall and 2-4 in the MAWPC, with both its conference wins coming over Mercyhurst. Ian Raley leads the Blue Jays' charge on offense with 57 points (38 goals, 19 assists), while Chris Poisler has been their main goalkeeper with a .327 save percentage.
