Women’s Tennis Named ITA All-Academic Team

GW women's tennis has been named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team for the 2022-23 season, the association announced on Monday. The honor marks the twelfth consecutive season that GW has been recognized after earning a team GPA of 3.72 this academic year.
Stella Wiesemann, Lindsay Thompson, Lara McNaughten, Charlotte Bell, Gabriela Giraldo and Sarah Bodewes have also been named ITA Scholar-Athletes.
The All-Academic Team award is presented to any ITA program with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher. For individual scholar-athletes, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of at least 3.5 for the academic year.
