Zeng helped GW dispatch Duquesne in its A-10 opener on Saturday evening, combining with Ben Barnett for a win at #1 doubles before earning a straight-set victory of his own at #2 singles as part of the 7-0 triumph.
A First Team All-Conference performer last year, Zeng has had a strong start to his sophomore campaign, winning all three of his singles matches without dropping a set to aid the Colonials' 2-1 start. His pairing with Barnett at the top doubles spot has yielded a 2-1 mark through the season's first three weeks.
