Men's Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team Award

Three Colonials lauded for individual success
WASHINGTON - GW men's tennis earned the ITA All-Academic Team Award, it was announced this week. Individually, first-years Michael Barsky and Ryan Navarro and junior Jakub Behun were named ITA All-Academic Scholar-Athletes.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale). The Colonials posted a 3.277 team GPA with eight student-athletes achieving at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA for the 2018-19 school year.
Individually, a player must be a varsity letter-winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year and have been enrolled for at least two semesters. Navarro was tops on the team in his initial year on campus with a 3.93 GPA. Barsky earned a 3.68 GPA in his first year, while Behun holds a 3.59 GPA heading into his senior campaign.
