
Men's Tennis Bows Out in A-10 Quarterfinals

ORLANDO -- The George Washington men's tennis team ended its Atlantic 10 Championship run in the quarterfinal round on Friday, falling to Richmond, 4-2, at the USTA National Campus.
The fourth-seeded Colonials had an early lead after doubles play, but fifth-seeded Richmond took four singles matches to advance to the final.
Chris Reynolds and Jakub Behun took a doubles win at the top spot while Chris Fletcher and Christos Hadjigeorgiou came out on top at No. 2 (6-2) to give the Colonials the early 1-0 advantage over the Spiders.
Fletcher carried his momentum into singles play, dominating in a straight-set triumph at No. 2 to increase GW's lead to 2-0.
Richmond then mounted a comeback, winning four singles matches to take the 4-2 victory.
