BRONX, N.Y. - The George Washington baseball team picked up a key Atlantic 10 series win with Sunday's 7-2 victory over Fordham at Houlihan Park.

Key Stats

Senior Isaiah Pasteur continued his torrid run at the plate by extending his program-record hit streak to 27 games. He finished the day 2-for-4 at the plate with a pair of runs, one RBI and a stolen base.
Junior Nathan Woods, working with a big lead all afternoon, turned in a complete-game effort. He allowed just two runs on five hits while striking out eight with three walks.
Junior Dominic D'Alessandro drove in multiple runs for the second time this weekend. He finished 1-for-3 at the plate with a two-run double.

Scoring
Top 2: Sophomore Nate Fassnacht hit a one-out triple and was followed by a walk from D'Alessandro. Senior Matt Cosentino was up next and reached on a fielding error, allowing Fassnacht to score from third. Brandon Chapman and Pasteur followed with back-to-back RBI singles (GW 3, Fordham 0).
Top 5: Pasteur led off the fifth with a base hit, moved to second on a ground out, stole third base and scored on a squeeze bunt by Mark Osis. After Fassnacht walked, D'Alessandro roped a two-run double to the gap in right-center field (GW 6, Fordham 0).
Bottom 5: Fordham got on the board with a two-out RBI single (GW 6, Fordham 1).
Top 6: Pasteur was hit by a pitch with one out and then moved to second on a bunt single by Steven Barmakian. Robbie Metz followed with a RBI single to push the lead back to six runs (GW 7, Fordham 1).
Bottom 6: A two-out double came around to score on a throwing error (GW 7, Fordham 2).
