First-year Zicheng Zeng has made quite the impression in two fall tournaments for GW men's tennis, advancing to the top flight championship match in both competitions. Zeng captured the top "A" flight championship this past week at Navy, going 3-1 in his matches and defeating George Mason's Eddie Ayers 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 in the final.
Zeng is 6-2 thus far in singles matches, more often than not competing against the top ranked player at opposing schools. The Chengdu, China native also went 3-1 in doubles action playing alongside fellow first-year Ben Barnett.
