GW Men's Tennis' Fall Schedule Announced

Fall 2016 Schedule
WASHINGTON -- George Washington men's tennis is slated to compete in five tournaments this fall, head coach David Macpherson announced on Friday.
Each tournament will feature flighted singles and doubles play leading up to the All-American and ITA Atlantic Regional Championships, where the Colonials will compete in a tournament format for singles and doubles.
The Colonials open fall competition with a pair of tournaments from Sept. 23-25. Several Colonials will compete at the Joe Hunt Invite in Annapolis, Maryland, while others will compete at the Elon Invite in Elon, North Carolina.
The Buff and Blue then head to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the 2016 Saint Francis Health Systems ITA All-American Championships in October. Pre-qualifying rounds begin Oct. 1, while main draw competition starts on Oct. 6 and concludes on Oct. 10.
The Colonials wrap October competition at the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships hosted by Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, beginning on Oct. 13. The winners from the Regional Championships will earn automatic bids to the ITA/USTA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships in November.
The fall season concludes in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for the Wake Forest Invite, Nov. 11-13.
