GW Men's Tennis Falls at No. 66 Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. - The George Washington men's tennis squad fell at No. 66 Pacific on Saturday to conclude a three-match spring break road trip.
Pacific (9-11) got out to an early lead, taking the doubles point with victories at the top two spots.
In singles play, sophomore Chris Reynolds continued a stretch of stellar play with a straight-set 6-3, 7-5 win at No. 4 to tie the match at 1-1. Reynolds has now won his last five consecutive singles bouts.
The Tigers regained the edge with a win at No. 2 before the nation's No. 119-ranked singles player, Sem Verbeek, triumphed at the top spot to come within one point of clinching the match.
Senior Danil Zelenkov kept the Colonials alive, battling for a 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 win in third-flight action, but Pacific claimed a 4-2 victory by winning a three-set contest at No. 5.
GW (6-7) opens its home outdoor season on Friday as cross-town rival Georgetown visits the GW Tennis Center.
