GW Men's Tennis Visits St. John's on Saturday

WASHINGTON - The George Washington men's tennis visits St. John's on Saturday for a 5:30 p.m. match at the National Tennis Center.
The Colonials (2-2) head to Queens, New York, after downing Morgan State on Saturday, 6-1, at the Southeast Tennis Center. The duo of junior Julius Tverijonas and senior Danil Zelenkov lead the Colonials in doubles play with a 3-0 mark at the top spot.
In singles action, Tverijonas and senior Cahit Kapukiran hold a 2-1 record at the No. 1 and 6 positions, respectively.
St. John's (8-2) continues a busy start to the spring season on Saturday. Andrei Crapcenko leads the Red Storm with a 10-1 singles mark on the year, while Lucas Hejhal holds a No. 92 ITA solo ranking heading into the weekend with a 5-4 mark. The pair of Hejhal and Vaidik Munshaw lead St. John's doubles efforts with an 8-3 record this spring.
Last season the Colonials edged St. John's, 4-3, as sophomore Christos Hadjigeorgiou and senior Cahit Kapukiran grabbed singles victories before junior Julius Tveijonas clinched the match for GW.
