GW Men's Tennis Wraps Fall Play on Saturday

Lakewood Ranch, Fla. - The George Washington men's tennis squad wrapped fall tournament play on Saturday at the Lakewood Ranch Dick Vitale Invitational presented by First Watch.
Fourth-seeded senior Julius Tverijonas advanced to the singles semifinals with a hard-fought 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 defeat of South Florida's Vadym Kalyuzhnyy. Tverijonas then fell to top-seeded Robert Levine of Duke in straight sets to close his fall play.
In doubles action, Tverijonas paired with junior Chris Reynolds to take on Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff and Nicolas Rouanet of Louisville but fell, 8-6, in the quarterfinal round.
With fall tournament play complete, the Colonials will take a hiatus from competition until team competition begins in the spring semester.
