WASHINGTON - Senior Julius Tverijonas and junior Chris Reynolds will represent the George Washington men's tennis squad at the Lakewood Ranch Dick Vitale Invitational presented by First Watch in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, to wrap the Colonials' fall season of play.
A total of 11 men's teams will be represented at the prestigious tournament, which will benefit the V Foundation for pediatric cancer research. GW will join Duke, Florida, Florida Gulf Coast, Illinois, Louisville, Miami, Navy, North Florida, Princeton and South Florida.
The clay court tournament will begin with singles and doubles play on Friday and will wrap on Sunday with champions crowned. Tverijonas will play as the fourth-seeded singles player.
Reynolds will compete for the first time this fall, while Tverijonas returns to the court after last competing at the ITA Atlantic Region Championships where he advanced to the Round of 16 in solo play.
The Dick Vitale Invite will be GW's final competition of the fall semester.
