Tverijonas Closes Play at ITA All-Americans on Friday

TULSA, Okla. - GW men's tennis senior Julius Tverijonas ended his run at the 2016 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships at the University of Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center on Friday in consolation singles play.
In the first round of singles consolation action, Tverijonas fell to top-seeded and nationally ranked No. 10 Ronnie Schneider of North Carolina, 6-3, 6-3.
Tverijonas logged a 3-2 overall solo record at the tournament, triumphing in three qualifying singles matches to earn a spot in the main draw. Both of Tverijonas' losses came to nationally-ranked opponents.
