SKILLMAN, N.J. - The George Washington men's tennis team wrapped the 2015 season ranked fifth in the Atlantic Region, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced. Recent graduate Francisco Dias received a No. 13 singles Atlantic Region ranking.
In 2015, the Colonials (13-13) won their fourth Atlantic 10 championship in five years and reached the NCAA Team Tournament for the fourth time in program history. The squad claimed victories over two nationally ranked opponents during one of its most challenging schedules to date.
Dias graduated as GW's all-time leader in career singles victories with 87, breaking a record that had stood since 1979. The three-time A-10 Most Outstanding Performer finished his senior season with an overall 21-15 singles mark and a 17-12 doubles record en route to his fourth First Team All-Conference selection.
