GW Men's Tennis to Face Wake Forest at NCAA Championship

WASHINGTON - The 2015 Atlantic 10 champion George Washington men's tennis team will head to Wake Forest on Friday, May 8, to take on the 12th-seeded Demon Deacons at 3 p.m. in the NCAA Championship.
GW (13-12) earned its fourth-ever bid to the NCAA Team Championship after downing A-10 rival VCU on Sunday in the conference title match. The Buff and Blue will take a seven-match win streak into the first round match-up with Wake Forest (22-7).
Florida (14-8) and Pepperdine (17-9) will also play in GW's regional, facing off at 12 p.m., before the Colonials meet the Demon Deacons at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The winners will battle on Saturday, May 9 for a chance to advance to the NCAA Round of 16.
